Fruits And Vegetables Most Important To Health
While making muscles and losing weight may be the health goals of many, there are a number of situations in which we neglect what is most important, and that is a healthy balanced diet. As obvious as it is, a diet full of nutrition gives a better shape to our bodies, it also paves a way for a healthy mind. There are always attempts to supplement our food nutrients by taking vitamins but the fact is just inevitable that nothing works as good or as effectively as the nutrition obtained from the food we eat. Here a list of some of the most important fruits and veggies that are a must if we intend to get on track for a greener lifestyle.
Mango
I was very tempted to start off with mangoes because when we hear veggies, all we think about is green leafy stuff but no, mangoes are way more important to our health than we ever imagined, plus they’re delicious. Giving fibre, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and very generous amounts of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Yes it is fattening but a controlled amount shouldn’t be too caloric.
Pomegranate
Once again, here’s something delicious and not leafy green. So a pomegranate boasts a nutritional content of potassium, magnesium, fiber, and vitamins B-1, B-2, B-6, C, E, and K. Though getting to the part where you actually enjoy a pomegranate comes after a bit of an effort but it’s delicious, it’s healthy and what not!
Broccoli
Sooner or later, I had to come to a green vegetable and it happens to be none other than the broccoli. So apart from the fact that many simply dont like how it tastes, it might just sound a bit better after you hear what it’s got. It’s called a bodybuilding staple, mainly because it is the most nutritious veggie on Earth! It contains potassium, calcium, selenium, Vitamin K and C. It’s also loaded with antioxidants.
Bell Pepper
The closest we’ve been to eating bell pepper is when it appears in our sandwiches or meals, but little did we know that it is silently rewarding us with such a generous nutritional content. It contains huge amounts of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin B-6. Plus considering the fact that it’s a veggie, you still enjoy it in your meals.
Spinach
Spinach, like broccoli, is a muscle building supplement. It’s naturally helps gym going people in making sure they’re training and diet are upto point. The thing about spinach is that people can just simply eat it raw and though it might not taste like chicken, it isn’t hard to swallow. Being a green vegetable and great for health, it definitely has to be part of your diet.
